Once every great long while I come to Portland, the city where my family lives and where I grew up, to visit all those who helped me become who I am.
It's a great thing to see all these people. I have managed to see my friends Phillip, Hoben, James, Kail, Debbie, Jeremy, Kasi, Cissy, Chris, My aunt Janice, Uncle Morgan, their kids, and their kids' kids. All without any major incident.
I have danced, drank, and gorged myself on rich foods. Now it's time to go back to my safe & calm warehouse/loft where the day-laborers, crack fiends, and trannies all call home as well. Oakland is awesome.
Seems like I will be moving to Oregon soon as well, at least I hope I am. It all depends on my job and how things go. But things do look like they are going that way.
I am doing my flights through Southwest airlines this time. I have not flown that airline in like 10 years. It has to be the most ghetto airline I have ever flown. I guess that some cargo plane or 3rd world airline would be worse, but hey... I got high standards. hahah.
The thing about Southwest that irked me the most was not the lack of assigned seating, because that was actually cool because I could sit next to whoever I wanted, but rather it was the fact that they oversold their flights by 20 people. When people at the gate started complaining, they asked for volunteers to fly on some later flight. This was on Christmas eve, and can't imagine someone who bought a ticket on Christmas eve thinking that they actually could fly later than that. But hey, you have to expect some sort of contention for a flight on Christmas eve.
I played pictionary with friends last night, made a jerk of myself a little, have to attribute that to the whisky. have to attribute my massive hangover to the whisky as well. ouch. Even typing this is hurting my brain. I will finish this later.
See you later, space cowboy.
