It's Christmas at Ground Zero

Posted on : Thu, Dec 22, 2005

Ahh, that time of year again where I get to see my friends, family, and strangers that look familiar as I travel to Portland and see my family. I have as many presents in tow as possible for family delivery, although I just don't have any money this time of year, this year, so it's going to be all cheer and no physical substance. I hope people can just appreciate that.

But it's going to be rad. I leave this Thursday night from the San Jose airport. I have never flown from there so that should be kinda fun. Major airlines are commenting on upwards of 4 hour delays on domestic flights. My flight however seems to be on time (hehe, as of this writing), and I am hoping to arrive nice and fresh in PDX at 20 minutes till midnight.

When I get there the fun will start. I will get picked up by a good old friend of mine for a Thu-Night drinking/catching up session. I'm personally stoked.

Last night I gave some gifts to a lady friend of mine. I am not sure how well they were received. She wasn't totally amped about my gift of colored pencils and water-color pencils. But I can attribute that to her being sick.

At any rate, I have a new Powerboook g4 that was given to me by work. I will take some pictures and post them. It's totally rad, Mac OS X rocks like a gravel pit.
